Awarded by APICER (the Portuguese Ceramics Industry Association), this classification seeks to reward and promote the production of ceramics in Portugal. It is a recognition of excellence on various levels - quality, environment, health and safety, energy, product certification, social responsibility, innovation, design and branding, living heritage and exports - all aspects of ceramics production, in this case sanitaryware.
